Be Great Basketball LLC ("BGB," "we," "us") is a Michigan limited liability company that runs basketball events and creates sports media. This policy explains what information we collect through be-great-basketball.com and at our events, how we use it, and your choices.

• Your email address when you join our mailing list.

• Your name, business name, email, phone, interests, budget, and message when you send a partnership inquiry.

• Your name, age, city, playing level, and highlight links when you apply to play.

• Anything you include when you email or message us.

Information collected automatically: Like most websites, our site host (Squarespace) collects basic technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies.

At events: We take photos and video at our events, which may include attendees. Card payments at the door are processed by Square. We do not see or store your full card number.

• To send event dates, updates, and merch news if you join our list.

• To respond to partnership inquiries and player applications.

• To run our events, including processing tickets and paying prize winners.

• To create and share event photos, video, and stories on our website and social media.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We share information only with services that help us run BGB, and only as needed:

• Squarespace hosts our website, forms, and mailing list.

• Square processes card payments at events.

• Spreadshop handles orders placed in the BGB Store.

• Email and storage tools (for example, Google or Mailchimp) help us manage our list and inquiries.

• Instagram and other social platforms display the content we post.

• Professional advisors, such as our accountant, and government authorities when required by law.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

PHOTOS AND VIDEO AT EVENTS

BGB events are filmed and photographed. By attending, you understand that you may appear in photos or video that we share online and in promotional materials. If you would like a specific photo or video of you removed from our website or social accounts, email thebgbshowcase@gmail.com and we will make reasonable efforts to remove it.

EMAILS AND UNSUBSCRIBING

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us.

COOKIES

Our website uses cookies to work properly and to understand traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

CHILDREN

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
